Anodized Aluminum Wire
When used for jewelry or for any other crafts, anodized aluminum wire is selected for its light weight, its resistance to wear or corrosion, and its ideal combination of malleability with strength. Available in a wide range of tarnish-resistant colors and sold in continuous coiled lengths, it makes an ideal basic material for both construction and decoration.
The wire has a soft temper. The anodized aluminum wire coatings are permanent. It is still possible to scratch the coating however. When working with the wire, it is recommended to use nylon jaw pliers or coated pliers.
