Artistic Wire is permanently colored copper wire coated to prevent tarnishing. The copper wire is coated with a unique enamel color along with a tarnish resistant coating. The coating is engineered to resist tarnishing, chipping, and peeling and to stand up to coiling spiral making, twisting wrapping and other wire working techniques.
The wire is round. With a soft temper the wire is easy to bend.
Some color variation may be noticeable between gauges. Some Artistic Wire hues have a tint range of ±10%.
