Polishing oxidized (antiqued) beads or jewelry

Never use liquid cleaner. You will remove the oxidization yet it won't leave you with a highly polished finish. Instead use a good polishing cloth and hand polish the pieces. The cloth will polish the 'highlights' and leave the oxidization in place in the crevices. Tumbling works very well for oxidized pieces but make sure you test or understand the safety of tumbling your specific piece of jewelry as some soft beads should not be tumbled.
