Ultrasuede ST is a wonderful fabric to use as a beading foundation, for cabochon work, backing cover for beadwork, for bead applique, or even glue/sew into place to line cuff bracelets. The Ultrasuede surface is very soft, plush and durable. Due to the softness and breathability, the fabric is very comfortable against the skin. Ultrasuede is a natural looking, synthetic suede fabric. The nap is very fine. It resists tearing, staining, stretching, shrinking, fraying or pilling. This Ultrasuede is 75% polyester ultra-microfiber non-woven (30% plant-based) with 25% non-fibrous polyurethane binder. Ultrasuede is colorfast. It may be machine washed in cold water, on the delicate cycle, with like colors using a mild detergent. Do not bleach. Line or machine dry. It can be steam ironed on a low setting, with a press cloth. Please be aware that color migration may occur if dark-colors fabric is combined with white or light-colored fabric. Except for white, it may be dry cleaned. Made in Japan. Was called Soft 223 but is now ST.
