Dealing with small hole pearls

If you need your pearl holes just slightly larger you can ream them out. You can buy reamers specifically for this or raid your toolbox for a drill bit the proper size and hand drill the hole larger. Pearls are soft you can do this by hand easily though it takes a bit of time. Most people can just hold the reamer or bit in their hand and do this; others need extra leverage so use a pin vise to hold the bit.
